Arranged rums (a Creole term from Réunion) are rums to which ingredients have been added. It is a typical drink of Reunion Island and the islands of the Indian Ocean while we will talk about Punchs in the West Indies and the Caribbean.
Nevertheless punches or arranged rums, they are all made with fruits (juice, whole, pulp, mixed, pieces) and spices mixed or not but all macerated in white rum. In particular, we use an AOC white agricultural rum from Martinique (AOC = Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée)

The maceration time varies from a few weeks to several months depending on the fruit or spices contained in the rum.
